Hempstead County Courthouse will be Closed Wednesday, January 28, 2026 due to inclement weather.  Judge Crane has hired a person to clear the courthouse parking lot but he is unable to clear it all off at this time.  For the safety of employees and Hempstead County Citizens due to the parking lot being unsafe at this time he has chosen to be closed one more day.

Hempstead County Sanitation routes will not be running Wednesday, January 28, 2026.

Hempstead County Road crew are out today and will be out tomorrow to clear the County Roads off the best they can.
