Per Judge Jerry T. Crane,  residents of Hempstead County, the Hempstead County Road Crew have been out today (Monday) and will be out tomorrow(Tuesday) working on the roads in the County as best as they can!  'The sleet has made the roads extremely slippery in a lot of locations!  Please if you have to get out drive with extreme caution!  

Continue to stay warm, safe, and look out for others and pets because the temperatures will be very cold for the next few days!!

Remember there will be no Sanitation routes for Hempstead County Residents Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
