Herbel Remedies Workshop July 19 Historic Washington
Herbal Remedies Workshop

(WASHINGTON, Ark.) - Join us at Historic Washington State Park on Saturday, July 19, at 10 a.m. Learn how people of the 19th century used various herbs for medicinal purposes. This hands-on workshop will include how to properly harvest and preserve different herbs. Participants will also make a remedy of their own to take home.

Reservations are required. The cost for attendance is $25 per person. Contact the park visitor center at 870-983-2684 to register.

Historic Washington State Park

Historic Washington State Park, located in Washington, Arkansas, is open daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The park is a restoration village interpreting the historic Arkansas town in the 19th century. Daily tours are provided to over 15 historic sites and museums, such as the B.W. Edwards Weapons Museum and Blacksmith Shop.
