Hogs will be at NC for SEC/ACC Challenge

FAYETTEVILLE -- Arkansas will be at North Carolina for this season's SEC/ACC Challenge according to CBS's Jon Rothstein.

The game will be played on Dec. 1 in the Dean Smith Center in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Arkansas is 3-0 in the SEC/ACC Challenge. They have previously defeated Duke, Miami and Louisville.

North Carolina leads Arkansas 8-3 in the all-time series. The Razorbacks and Tar Heels last played on Nov. 24, 2023, in the Battle 4 Atlantis. North Carolina defeated Arkansas 87-72.

This is the third non-conference game confirmed for Arkansas. They will face Michigan State in Detroit on Thanksgiving Day and Arizona on Dec. 19 in Phoenix.

North Carolina has a first-year coach in Michael Malone, who had previously coached the Denver Nuggets. Former John Calipari and Arkansas assistant coach Chuck Martin. Martin had worked with Malone previously at Manhattan.

Arkansas returns three players from last year's team in Billy Richmond III, Isaiah Sealy and Paulo Semedo. The Razorbacks have the No. 1-rated recruiting class in the country with five freshmen. Arkansas has also added two players from the transfer portal.
