Leadership Hope-Hempstead County brings together professionals from a variety of industries to strengthen leadership skills, build meaningful connections, and gain a deeper understanding of the community through hands-on experiences and educational programming. Participants will engage in sessions focused on local government, education, healthcare, economic development, and community involvement throughout the program year.

“The Leadership Hope-Hempstead County program plays a vital role in shaping future leaders by strengthening their knowledge of our community and encouraging collaboration across sectors,” said Christy Burns, Executive Director of the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce. “We are excited to see how this outstanding group of participants will grow, learn, and contribute throughout the year and beyond.”
The Leadership Hope-Hempstead County Class of 2026 began the program with orientation and will continue with monthly sessions throughout the year, culminating in graduation.
