Debbie Marsh said at the podium in the Amigo Juan annex this year’s event served more meals than in recent past years. “The numbers I have just going back to 2019 was 495; 2021 was 405; 2022 was 512, and 23 was 462; 24 was 493, so 526 [for 2025] is good.” There was no Lions Fish Fry in 2020 due to the COVID pandemic.
She also provided a breakdown of numbers of those who received their meals at different locations. “The breakdown was 174 that actually ate inside the community center. One-hundred- seventy-six came into the community center, but took their packs to go. We gave the park staff six meals, and at the drive through. 170 people were there. So that makes up the 526,” Marsh said.
The club deposited $7,135.42 raised from the event. Marsh said she expected the final proceeds will be around $8,000.
