On Sunday, August 4th, 2024, at approximately 7:30am, Officers with the Hope Police  Department arrested Daveon Taylor, 18 of Hope, AR. Mr. Taylor was arrested in the 500 block  of West Avenue D and charged with Aggravated Residential Burglary and Engaging in Violent  Criminal Group Activity. Mr. Taylor was transported to the Hempstead County Detention  Facility and held for a first appearance.  

On Sunday, August 4th, 2024, at approximately 3:17pm, Officers with the Hope Police  Department arrested Brent Chambers, 36 of Hope, AR. Mr. Chambers was arrested in the 1100  block of Mack Street and charged with Domestic Battery 2nd Degree. Mr. Chambers was  transported to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
