On Wednesday, July 16th , 2025 at about 9:57am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Kenneth Weaver, 42 of Hope, AR in the 300 block of South Washington Street. Mr. Weaver was charged with Theft of Property and held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility awaiting a first court appearance.

On Wednesday, July 16th, 2025 at about 11:54am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Smeqaleia Jackson, 23 of Hope, AR in the 1200 block of West 5th Street. Ms. Jackson was charged with Aggravated Assault on a Family member, Terroristic Threatening 1st Degree and Possession of a Controlled Substance. Ms. Jackson was held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility awaiting a first court appearance.

On Sunday, July 20th, 2025 at about 5:29am, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Corin James, 36 of Hope, AR in the 800 block of East Greenwood Street. Mr. James was charged with Possession of a Firearm by Certain Person and held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility awaiting a first court appearance.
