The RainDrop app’s website says its measurements come from “processing data from high-resolution radars, ground sensors, and satellite data.” The app’s data also derives from readings of “more than 10,000 rain gauges” and the use of “scientific models to derive rainfall estimates.”
Estimates of rainfall for the past several months in Hope and Prescott are also available on the RainDrop site. Hope’s readings for the months March to this point in June are as follows:

From the website for the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail & Snow Network, day-to-day readings for rainfall for locations in Hope and in Emmet are both available. The highest rain totals for Hope occurred on April 5th (6.4 inches), May 7th (3.28) and June 8th (4.63). In Emmet the highest totals occurred April 5th (5.21), May 26th (3.26) and May 7th (2.28).
