Hope, Arkansas — Hope Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, January 29, 2026, due to continued winter weather and unsafe road conditions.

District crews are actively clearing ice from campus bus circles and car lines. However, side roads remain unsafe, and many main roads still have thick ice that is expected to refreeze as temperatures drop.

The decision was made with student, staff, family, and community safety as the top priority.
