Hope XC Competes at SAU on Saturday
Magnolia- The Bobcats and Lady Cats hit the road early Saturday morning to SAU for their second cross country meet of the week. A short-handed group fought and competed hard on Saturday and Madelyne Maclaughlin showed out once again on Saturday, as she followed up her win at the DeQueen meet Tuesday with a 3rd place finish Saturday. Marely Almaraz and Lucero Arroyo both ran well and finished top-35 for the Lady Cats. 

For the Bobcats, Nathan Sanchez in 12th place to lead the way for the Bobcats. Alan Basilio ran in 22nd place. Oswaldo Alvarado, Emir Barrientos, and Diego Dominguez rounded out the rest of the team and all finished top-35. Blake White, Eduardo Leyva, and Giovanni Piza ran for Hope as well. 

Javier Martinez was top finisher for the Jr Bobcats with Breyden Brawner finishing behind Martinez. Valeria Castillo was the top runner for the Jr. Lady Cats. 

Hope is back on the course in Nashville on Tuesday.
