On Thursday, January 2nd, 2025 at about 5:30pm, officers with the Hope Police Department arrested Devonte Emory, 27 of Hope, in the 900 block of South Fulton Street. Mr. Emory was charged with Aggravated Assault on a Family or Household Member and held at the Hempstead County Detention Facility awaiting a first court appearance.
