Jamie Pardo found Madelyne Maclaughlin with a nice pass, as Maclaughlin found the back of the net for her first of 3 goals to get the scoring going on Monday night. 

In the final 8 minutes of the first half, the Lady Cats scored 3 times to pull away from the Lady Eagles, as Madelyne Maclaughlin got a nice pass from sister Brianna Maclaughlin to score Hope's second goal of the game. Crystal Ortiz got in on the action as she scored her first of two goals with just 5 minutes remaining in the opening half. Less than two minutes later, Ortiz passed the ball to Madelyne Maclaughlin as she completed the hat trick for her third goal.

The Lady Cats displayed more intensity in the second half, as Crystal Ortiz scored her 2nd goal of the game to give the Lady Cats a 5-2 lead. Brianna Maclaughlin got in on the scoring action, as she put the nail in the coffin on the Lady Eagles, with the Lady Cats winning the game 6-2. 

Madelyne Maclaughlin completed the hat trick, as she has gotten off to a fast start this season with 5 goals in 3 games. Crystal Ortiz scored twice and added an assist. Brianna Maclaughliln scored a goal and assisted on another, as these three showed a glimpse of how impressive the Lady Cats attack could be this season. 

Great defense from Hope, allowing just a pair of goals and GK Lucero Arroyo played very well. 

Hope is back in action on Tuesday as they head to play Robinson.
