The defense was outstanding all game, as GK Lucero Arroyo had a clean sheet. 

The Hope offense finally broke through in the 2nd half, as Madelyne Maclaughlin found the back of the net to give the Lady Cats a 1-0 lead. A few minutes later, Maclaughlin scored a banger on a free-kick to extend the lead to 2-0. With under 10 minutes remaining, Madelyne secured her third hat trick of the year, on a great pass from Samantha Castillo to win the game 3-0.
