Genoa jumped out early and dominated the opening half of the game, leading 37-8 at the break and scoring another 22 points in the 3rd quarter to put the game away. The Lady Dragons knocked down a season-high nine 3's in the win, as they have evolved into a team that can score from all 3 levels on the floor.
Rylee Fike led the way with 22 points, including 16 of those points in the first half. Brooklyn Cox poured in 20 points, knocking down 4 three-pointers. Macey Williams scored 7, Emily McGuire scored 6, Chrissie Ellis scored 5, Kenzie Owen added 4, and Kinsley Hollensworth, Lily Armstrong, Brylee Bearden each scored 2.
Genoa Central is scheduled to be back on the court January 26 at Lafayette County.
