Genoa- The Lady Dragons had a quick turnaround after their conference game on Monday and they did not disappoint, as they put up crooked numbers in the 3rd, 4th, and 6th innings. Ali Pierce had a 2-hit game with an RBI, and she scored 3 runs, as she was a terror out of the leadoff spot. Rylee Fike and Brenley Ward each had a hit and 2 RBI, as they produced well at the top of the order. Kelsie Fowler smashed a double and drew a pair of walks to reach base safely three times. Jessyca Thompson had a single and scored 2 runs. Emily McGuire added an RBI.
In the pitchers circle, Emily McGuire got the start and picked up the win, as she allowed just 4 hits, allowing 0 ER's. Kenzie Burris came in the game in the 5th and finished the job, striking out one batter and allowing zero earned runs, allowing just 2 hits.
The Lady Dragons are scheduled to be back on the diamond on Friday night against Centerpoint.
