Lady Dragons Top Lady Wolves on Friday Night
Prescott- Prescott welcomed Genoa Central to town on Friday night for a conference matchup and the ball was jumping off the bats, as both teams had a player go yard, and both teams combined for 20 hits, as the Lady Dragons had 14 hits and the Lady Wolves had 6.

Genoa Central got the scoring going early on in this one, as they scored two in the 1st, and three more runs in the 2nd inning. The Lady Dragons would not look back, as Prescott would put up 3 runs in the 4th, but it would not be enough, as the Lady Dragons put up crooked numbers in the 5th and 6th innings to put the game out of reach. As Genoa would go on to win the game 10-4.

Five extra-base hits for Genoa played a big part in this one and none louder than Kelsie Fowler's homerun, as it was her first round-tripper of the year. Rylee Fike added a triple and a double, with Kenzie Owen roping a triple, and Ali Pierce smashing a double. Fike would finish the game with 4 hits, and an RBI. Anna McCrary had a great night at the dish with a pair of hits and 3 RBI. Jessyca Thompson had a 2-hit game, with Brenley Ward, Macey Williams, and Emily McGuire all added singles. Ward added an RBI.

For the Lady Wolves, Kyla Joseph got ahold of a ball and sent it over the fence for a 3-run HR. Dakota Stout had a 2-hit game. Kadence Formby, Jodee McKinnon, and Heidi Wiley each had a hit.

Emily McGuire picked up the win for the Lady Dragons in this one, as she struck out 4 and allowed 3 ER. Dacey Faulkner tossed 7 innings for Prescott, striking out 3 and allowing 8 ER.
