Taylor- The Lady Hornets headed to Taylor on Friday night for a non-conference matchup against a very good Lady Tigers team. The first half was competitive, but just before the half the Lady Tigers went on a run to make the score 30-15 at the break. Blevins fought hard in the 2nd half, but the Tigers proved to be too much in the 2nd half, as Taylor defeated Blevins 63-22.
Kentana Wiliamson led the Lady Hornets in scoring with 7 points, with Audrey Lovette being the next leading scorer with 5 points. Nevaeh Johnson finished the game with 3 points, while Emilee Davis, Amya Phillips, and Alaya Carrington each scored 2 points. Sadie Stephens added 1 point.
The Lady Hornets are back in action this next week against Bradley.
