Mount Ida- The Lady Hornets were in a close on in Mount Ida last week, as they hit the road for a big conference game against the Lady Lions. The Lady Hornets have been playing very well as of late and almost escaped Mount Ida with a huge win, but fell one bucket short, as the Lady Lions topped Blevins 47-45.
Audrey Lovette led the way for the Lady Hornets with 18 points, as she continues to play well. Freshman Kentana Williamson poured in 14 points, as she has done an excellent job this season. Emilee Davis knocked down a three-pointer and finished the game with 5 points, as Alaya Carrigan scored 4 points and Amaya Phillips and Keyla Diaz each scored 2 points.
The Lady Hornets will hit the road on Friday and travel to Oden for another conference game.
