Lady Jays Beat Lady Cougars 8-4
Nevada- The Nevada Lady Jays had a final tune-up before getting ready for playoff softball beginning next week. Jill Pinner got the nod from Coach Beck to start for Nevada and did a great job in their home-finale this season. Pinner struck out 11 batters in the win. 

At the plate, Nevada had some traffic on the bases throughout the game, as they kept the pressure on Lafayette Co.. Reagan Gammage led the way with 3 hits on Thursday night. Jill Pinner, Trinity Kendall, Leymy Contreras, and Payton Tolar each had 2 hits. Jocelyn Autry added a hit and reached base two more times on walks. 

The Lady Jays are the #3 seed in the District Tourney, where they will play Mt. Ida in the semis. Nevada has also clinched a spot in the Regional Tournament.
