Hope- It was the season opener for Garrett Memorial as they played host to the Blevins Lady Hornets in a non-conference game. Silbi Jones was in the pitchers' circle for the Lady Saints as she tossed a three-inning shutout with 3 strikeouts, as GMCS won the game 15-0. 

Mikayla Fields led the way offensively with a double and a single. Raylee Adkison and Kynlee Glass each had 2 singles for GMCS. Evan Chambless also added a big hit for the Lady Saints. Laila Santifer reached base 3 times on a walk and she was hit twice. The defense played great behind Silbi, and the Lady Saints begin their season 1-0.
