Steve Lance, who founded the company in 2006, will remain an active broker and continue to serve the community. He expressed his full confidence in Townsend's ability to lead the company, stating that this move is in the best interest of the company's future and its clients.

“This decision is about moving forward and putting the care of the business into younger hands,” Lance said. “Lindsey already manages the office and runs the day-to-day operations, so how we do things isn’t going to change. Now she will be listed as principal broker on our license. I have every confidence in her capabilities and I know this is a step towards progress.” Lance said he will continue to be a part of the company, supervising other agents and serving clients.

Townsend, who has been an integral part of the Lance & Associates team since 2010, is ready to step into her new role. She affirmed that the day-to-day operations and the company's mission will remain the same. "Nothing's really changing," she stated, echoing Lance's sentiment. "We're here to help the public as much as we can and serve our community in every way possible." Whether it’s assisting clients in the search for residential/commercial real estate or supporting local schools and organizations within the community, Townsend says that the company’s fundamental principle remains the same: helping people.
