Movies of the Past : White Christmas on Friday, December 19
Hempstead County has had different movie theatres over the years from the Saenger to the Rialto in downtown Hope. The Hempstead County Historical Society would like to showcase a movie that was shown in those theatres. For this Christmas Season, come out to see the wonderful holiday classic “White Christmas.”

The movie will be shown at Hempstead Hall located at 2500 South Main Street on the campus of UAHT-Hope on Friday, December 19 at 7pm. Doors open at 6pm. Admission is $5 per person. Children under 6 years of age are free. Come early and enjoy a piece of cake to celebrate the birthday of Hempstead County before the movie.

The Historical Society seeks to bring awareness to the rich heritage and history of Hempstead County. Come and share your history with us.
