There will be a new Justice of the Peace in the District 7 seat of the Nevada County Quorum Court as Regina Irizarry won the runoff against incumbent Kenneth Bailey tonight in unofficial results from the Nevada County Courthouse.

Irizarry won with 28 total votes to Bailey's 10.  Irizarry won in early votes 7 to 2, in the Bodcaw Rural Precinct 12-0, in Rosston Rural 1-0 and tied with Bailey in Willisville City and Rural 8-8.
