Mrs. Haynie's Personal Finance Spring semester class participated in the Stock Market Game during the Spring Semester 2025 through Economics Arkansas. This game is a national program of the SIFMA Foundation that allows students and teachers to invest a virtual $100,000 in stocks, bonds, and mutual funds throughout an engaging 13-week simulation during the spring semester (January 6-April 11). Arkansas is divided into 6 regions for Senior High (10th-12th Grades). The first-place regional winner is only recognized at a statewide awards luncheon. Kihren Block, a Prescott High School Sophomore, is the regional winner out of 118 regional participants from other schools in our region. He is invited to a luncheon to honor him on Thursday, May 1st, at the Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock. Kihren will receive $125 cash, a medalion, a certificate, and a tour ticket to the Clinton Presidential Library for being the Regional Winner. Congratulations to Kihren Block!! What a semester for learning about the market!
