Hempstead County Courthouse, Shop and Waste Department will be closed Monday, February 16, 2026, to observe Presidents Day.

Hempstead County trash route for the County for Monday, February 16, 2026 and Tuesday, February 17, 2026 will be collected on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.  Please have it out by 7:00 AM.
