A statement from Speedway Truckstop:

Speedway Truckstop confirms that we have begun construction on a new site in Hope, Arkansas,
on North Hervey, Highway 278 West, across from Wal-Mart. This location will serve as our second
location in the state and marks the start of a broader expansion across Arkansas as we build
out our travel center network from Tennessee to Texas. While timelines are still being finalized,
we anticipate the site opening sometime next year.

We’re grateful for the support from both the city, county, and Hempstead County Economic
Development throughout the planning process and look forward to sharing more information as
the project progresses. At this time, we don’t have a press release or additional details to share,
but we’ll be sure to keep you posted as things move forward.” said an External Communications

plus an estimated 5,000 square foot facility, this project represents a notable financial
