Originally planned as a traditional Easter egg hunt, the weather had other plans. Organizers quickly shifted to a drive thru style event, handing out candy to families as they arrived. Still, many parents and children made their way inside to enjoy one of the day’s highlights, a visit and photo opportunity with the Easter Bunny.
Young and old alike gathered, umbrellas in hand and Easter baskets ready, as children lined up for their turn to snap pictures. While the rain prevented the usual egg hunt and outdoor games, the excitement of the day was still easy to see.
Kids left with bags full of candy and big smiles, while parents captured sweet moments that made braving the weather worth it.
Though the set up looked different this year, the heart behind the event remained the same, bringing the community together and creating special memories for local families.
Even without the hunt, the 2026 Junior Auxiliary Easter event proved that a little rain cannot wash away a good time.
