On March 20th, 1854, a small group gathered in Ripon, Wisconsin, and gave birth to the Republican Party. Our party has gone on to shape the course of American History. The fundamental principles of our belief in God, in the sanctity of life, individual freedoms, smaller and smarter government, free markets, and a strong national defense are now the bedrock of the party.

Salute to the Republican Party for 172 years of helping shape America into a global beacon of hope, freedom, and opportunity that it is today.
