ROC HOSTS TOP OFFICIALS FROM HOPE PUBLIC SCHOOLS FOR TOUR OF LOCAL CHILDREN’S SERVICES FACILITIES
Pictured are Hope Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Jonathan Crossley and Josclyn Wiley, Assistant Superintendent for Special Services, plus an ROC Administration team headed by CEO Judy Watson as the group enjoys a tour of the Making Rainbows pre-school facility.  It provided an opportunity to show and share with Dr. Crossley and Mrs. Wiley the many services provided and the success stories of which there are many. The group also talked about how ROC and Hope Public Schools can work better together, creating opportunities for those with disabilities that were not previously available.  At Making Rainbows, children have learning avenues that fit everyone on their learning levels. ROC and Children Services were the original reasons the organization was created in 1969.

"I look forward to building a strong relationship between ROC and HPS for people with special needs. We will do this by working together to provide a continuum of services for young children extended throughout their adulthood, providing them with the essentials for what they need to be successful in their lives"

Watson states there will be another visit planned with Crossley, visiting in late June. The group will tour the Adult Day and Residential Services.
