Hooks Brown led the way for GMCS with a great performance, scoring 28 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. Brandy Edwards scored 13 points, dished out four assists, and had four steals. Ben Martin poured in nine points and had four assists and four boards and Kason Flowers added eight points and had five rebounds and four assists. Haze Brown scored eight and both Levi Burns and AJ Daniels scored two.
In the junior boys game, GMCS won the game in runaway fashion, 57-31. Three players were in double-figures with Haze Brown scoring 19 and grabbing 14 boards. Both Matthew Garcia and Slade Tullis each scored 16. Chase Sundberg scored six points and had 10 rebounds and added a block. Luke Martin dished out a pair of assists and had four rebounds.
GMCS Sr. High is back in action on Thursday as they welcome Abundant Life to town.
