Sanu Jallow-Lockhart earns first Bowerman watch list appearance
FAYETTEVILLE – A collegiate record in her first race of this indoor season earned Razorback senior Sanu Jallow-Lockhart her first career appearance on the Bowerman watch list.

The Bowerman was first awarded in 2009, and the first official watch lists were announced in 2010. Members of The Bowerman Advisory Board produce these watch lists by voting on their current top-10 "who's who" among collegiate track & field athletes. The watch list represents the group's consensus top 10 for that update. There are a total of eight watch lists during the season.

Jallow-Lockhart broke the 600m collegiate record with a winning performance of 1:24.19 at the Arkansas Invitational in January and it remains the world-leading time for 2026 two weeks later. The closest challenger to Jallow-Lockhart’s performance has been a 1:24.44 by Jamaican Kelly-Ann Beckford at Penn State this past weekend.

During the recently held Razorback Invitational, Jallow-Lockhart raced in the 800m and claimed a victory in 2:01.55, which is the fourth fastest collegiate time this season and leads the SEC.

Jallow-Lockhart holds UA school records in the 800m for indoor (1:59.77) and outdoor (1:59.29) seasons.
