Hope's Scout Troop 5 camped on the Ouachita River near Mount Ida, Arkansas.
Darin, Bonita and Jordan Laughard hosted the youth and adult leaders on
their riverfront property.

The weekend was full of games, cooking, eating, swimming and fellowship
highlighted by a 7 mile trip kayaking down the Ouachita River. 

This trip has become very popular and there are more Scouts that want to
kayak than there are kayaks available. Troop 5 is seeking used kayaks and
paddles to purchase or for donations.
