As the sun was starting to set on the horizon of the Nevada County Fair, the Nevada County Fair Queens pageant was being held in the Potlatch building. The warm glow of the golden hour bathed the fairgrounds in a soft light, casting long shadows of the colorful booths and bustling crowds that filled the fair. Inside the Potlatch building, excitement mingled with anticipation as young women, adorned in elegant gowns and radiant smiles, prepared for their moment in the spotlight.
These girls practiced for months for tonight. As several families gathered in this building to watch the girls walk the stage and perform.
