You are invited to a free training opportunity on May 3, 2024, at the First Methodist Church in Texarkana, TX. Please join us for Soul Shop for Leaders, hosted by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). Attached is the event flyer for your reference.

This workshop is tailored for a wide range of individuals including faith community leaders (both paid and volunteers), clergy, church staff, lay pastors, faith-based clinicians, mental health professionals, law enforcement, healthcare professionals, college students, leaders from various sectors, and community members at large.

Soul Shop for Leaders aims to equip faith community leaders and congregations with the necessary tools to support those affected by suicide. Our goal is to create a world where no one feels alone and where hope is always present. This program is inclusive and relevant to all faith groups.
