Spring Hill High School celebrated the Class of 2026 at Hempstead Hall last night, honoring 37 graduates who have set a new bar for academic excellence. Principal Ronald Smead opened the ceremony by expressing the district’s pride in a class where 95% of students achieved a GPA above 3.0.
The ceremony featured a beautiful National Anthem performance by Madilynn Claire Townsend and an address by Co-Valedictorian Jaxon Cooper Smith, who reflected on the "ordinary moments" that defined their high school years. A major highlight was the announcement by Counselor Presley Capps that the class earned a staggering $1,636,695 in total scholarships.
Co-Valedictorian Maddox Kyle Dickson delivered a powerful, faith-centered address, sharing his journey of finding identity through Christ and encouraging his peers to walk into their diverse futures with courage.
Whether heading to college at SAU, UCA, or Texas A&M, or entering trades with Union Pacific or South Ark Electric, the Class of 2026 leaves a legacy of resilience and achievement.
