Mills would go on to score 13 more points in Spring Hill's 24-point 3rd quarter, to take a double-digit lead into the fourth. Bradley would not go away, as they would outscore Spring Hill 21-12 in the fourth quarter, but Spring Hill made just enough plays late to pull out a hard-fought win over Bradley.
Maverick Mills led the Bears with 29 points, as he has been scoring the ball at a very high clip leading into the District Tournament. Player of the Week Karson Hamilton poured in 21 points as he continues to play at a high level. Jett Durham scored 14 points, including a pair of triples. Kaleb Anderson scored 4 points, Grant Hudman and Reese Tarver scored 2, and Luke Harper hit a free throw.
The Bears are back in action on Tuesday night as they will be a win Tuesday night away from clinching a spot in the Regional Tournament.
