Troop 5 Rich Mountain Hike and Campout
Hope's Scout Troop 5 recently went on their annual Rich Mountain/Camp Pioneer Campout near Mena, Arkansas.  The highlight of the trip is the Scouts taking a 15 mile hike up Rich Mountain west of Mena.  After the hike the Scouts are treated to a meal at the Queen Wilhelmina Lodge Restaurant. Taking the hike this year were:  Drake Mathis, Crew Leader; Riley Bramlett,
Makenzi Golden, Riley Golden, Kody O'Brien, Kaden O'Brien and Cooper Robertson. Staying at Pioneer Campgrounds, the Scouts enjoyed many activities and cooked group meals of breakfast casseroles, pancakes, hot dogs and deer chili. Troop 5 is a special friend of owner Matt Foust. They were the first Troop
