Unity Baptist Church Welcomes Community for Chamber Coffee
Unity Baptist Church hosted the Hope Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Community Coffee this morning at their location, 402 S. Hervey Street in Hope. Community members, church members, and local leaders gathered early to show their support for the many ministries and outreach efforts Unity Baptist Church provides throughout the area.

The lobby of the church quickly filled with conversation and fellowship as guests enjoyed coffee and refreshments. Tables were beautifully arranged and featured a generous assortment of breakfast and finger foods, along with beautiful white flower arrangements that added a welcoming touch to the space. Attendees mingled throughout the morning, catching up with friends and making new connections.

Pastor Nick Flowers welcomed guests and shared remarks about the church’s heart for the community. “We want the community to know that we are here and that we are truly thankful for this community,” Flowers said.

“We pray for our community and strive to be a light in the darkness, which is the heart of our church. We want people to feel welcome, to connect with one another, and to come see what God is doing here as we preach the Word and worship together each week.”

Christy Burns, Executive Director of the Hope Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce, thanked Unity Baptist Church for hosting and spoke about its impact on the community. “Unity Baptist Church is a place that truly opens its doors to everyone,” Burns said. “Their commitment to serving people at every stage of life is evident, and their willingness to invest in this community makes a meaningful difference.”

Unity Baptist Church continues to live out its mission of A Light in the Darkness through service, outreach, and connection. For more information about services, ministries, and upcoming events, visit Unity Baptist Church’s Facebook page here
