Visitor Center Attendant
The City of Hope is currently hiring a part time position at the Visitors Center and Train Depot.
This can be a dynamic and rewarding area of work. As the Visitor Center Attendant, you will meet guests from all over the country and even some parts of the world. It is an exciting time to work at the Visitor Center as the Museum will soon be transformed with new displays, artifacts and more to showcase Hope and other aspects of Southwest Arkansas.
Job duties include the following, but are not limited:
1. Ensuring a clean and inviting environment for all guests.
2. Assist Amtrak passengers and show them to the waiting room.
3. Making sure the Visitor Center is open and attended at all operating hours.
4. Keep a successful log of all visitors.
Preferred skills:
1. Able to follow direction and report to direct supervisor.
2. Communication skills with the public.
3. Time management.
Hours will average 25 hours per week.
Pay will be based on experience and skills. Applications can be picked up at the Fair Park Office or City Hall. Closing date October 1, 2024.
