Johnny Harold Shapley

Johnny Harold Shapley, age 75, of Hope, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 in Hope. Johnny was born February 16, 1943 in Blevins, Arkansas to John Belvin Shapley and Lois Sutton Shapley.
Johnny was a member of Southside Baptist Church. He was a veteran with over 30 years in the Arkansas National Guard, as well as over 30 years at International Paper.
Johnny is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: his twin brother Tom Shapley, Delmer Shapley, Hilton Shapley; and one sister Laurice Honea.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bonnie Shapley; two daughters, Julie (Josh) Hays of Nashville, TN, and Kristie (Fred) Coon of Charlotte, NC; one son, Jonathon (Nicole) Shapley; one brother, Bill (Myrlene) Shapley of Hope; one sister, Betty (Mike) Warren of Bryant; five grandchildren: Ryan, Cody, Caitlyn Hays; and, Isabella and Zachariah Coon; as well as many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Saturday, February 2 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home in Hope.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Sunday, February 3 at Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home in Hope with interment to follow in Old Washington Cemetery under the direction of Herndon-Fuqua Funeral Home.
