Spring Hill Bears shut out the Mineral Springs Hornets 30-0 at Thursday night’s game. This is the first time a Spring Hill football team has beat the Hornets in the past 8 years, and they did it in style.
This was the first game of the season for the Bears and they started the season off strong with a (1-0) record while the Hornets move to (2-1).
Right out of the tunnel, the Bears went to work, successfully stopping the Hornets on defense and marching down the field to find the endzone 4 different times. Cade Watson had a great game, with 2 touchdown runs and 2 two point conversions, and Dalton Glover had 2 touchdowns with an interception. TJ Tipton scored a 2 point conversion.
Next Thursday at 7:00 PM the Bears take on the Foreman Gators at home.
