The Hope High School Senior Class broke the “Junior Jinx” of the HHS Powder Puff Football Classic here April 24 by defeating the Juniors, 22-6. The Seniors were sparked by two touchdowns from Natalie Smith, with one conversion called back, for 18 points in the first half, with another score and conversion by Zymeshia Lee in the second half. The Juniors struck in the second half on a TD by Ranayzia Miller, but did not convert on the extra points. The Seniors, who as juniors helped prolong the string of Powder Puff wins by the 11th grade class, also out-powered the Juniors in the Powder Puff Tug of War to break that junior string, as well.
