Klipsch Heritage Museum Association is Forming a Community Impact Panel

March 28, 2022 Press Release

Hope, Arkansas – The Klipsch Heritage Museum Association is forming a Community Impact Panel. The panel will consist of representatives from the Hope-Hempstead County business sector including nonprofit organizations and school districts.

The purpose of the Community Impact Panel (CIP) is to provide a connectivity between the businesses/nonprofits/schools and the KHMA (all facilities). The panelists will provide input as to how KHMA can benefit the community and partner with the community as KHMA projects, plans, and events unfold.

The Community Impact Panel goes far beyond committee service. The panel will be action-oriented in nature. Therefore, KHMA is calling upon the Hope-Hempstead County community to nominate one representative (per business/nonprofit/school) to serve in this capacity. KHMA hopes to see as many community members as possible serving in this manner. Retirees who choose to be involved in CIP, may also apply and participate.

Beckie Moore, KHMA director stated, “The Community Impact Panel will provide much-needed information that will benefit KHMA in all areas of program and event development. We are here to connect with our local community, so we are calling upon our community to provide input all along the way.”

Once the CIP is in place, KHMA will call everyone together to provide a tour of all facilities, that includes the museum, education center, auditorium, and visitors center. A lunchtime conversation will be arranged for the CIP team and KHMA team to have an in-depth conversation about partnership opportunities that will benefit each business as well as our entire community. To nominate someone from your business, please email Beckie Moore at [email protected] with a name, contact number and email address. In the subject line, please state CIP Nominee. Deadline to submit a nominee is Friday, April 29 at 4:00 PM. If you have questions prior to nominating someone, please email to ask your question(s).
