On Saturday, October 27, the club will hold a Chili Cook-Off in downtown Hope. Setup begins at 2:00 p.m., and tasting kits go on sale at 6:00 p.m.
For Saturday, the Lions Club invites both teams to cook and people to eat.
Teams, whether from a workplace or family & friends, can enter the cook-off for a chance at two awards, one for Best Team costume and one for Best Showmanship. The entry cost is $25 per team.
Individuals and families are welcomed to come downtown Saturday afternoon and sample the homemade chili, plus cast a vote in the People’s Choice awards. The cost is $5 per person.
