Local FBC Youth Awarded Annette Rogers Memorial Scholarship

On April 24, 2022 First Baptist Church in Hope celebrated their high school graduating seniors. Each year, a student is awarded the Annette Rogers Memorial Scholarship. Annette Rogers was a pivotal, lifelong member of First Baptist Church and her family carries on her legacy each year by awarding this scholarship.

Students must apply to be considered and adhere to the criteria set by the scholarship committee. This year, because of their lifelong membership and contribution to FBC, Hunter Mathis and Carlie Beck were each awarded a $500 scholarship to further their education. An additional scholarship for $500 was awarded to Bradley Kellar.  Mathis plans to attend Arkansas Tech in Russellville, Beck to SAU in Magnolia, and Kellar to Henderson State in Arkadelphia.
