Lunch Break: Care for Caregivers Starts Today

The sacrifices made and stresses endured by those who devote their time and energy into caring for those with chronic conditions take their toll over time. In an effort to provide support and a place where caregivers can come together once a month to support each other and take a little time for themselves, the Area Agency on Aging of SWAR, Encompass Health Hospice and Word of Grace Church are launching “Lunch Break: Care for Caregivers” today, Thursday, August 8, from noon-1 p.m.

The monthly event will be held the second Thursday of each month Word of Grace Church at 2909 Hwy 278 E. in Hope and will provide a free lunch, information on being a caregiver and a place to fellowship and unwind.
