Odell Wesson, 89, of Nashville, AR, died Friday, March 8, 2019, in a local nursing home. Mr. Wesson was born January 28, 1930, in Bingen, Arkansas. He was retired from Tyson Foods and a member of Williams Memorial Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Gussie Wesson, his brothers, Raymond and Forrest Wesson, one sister Eula Mae Harrington, one granddaughter, Mallory Ware, and one great-grandson, Bryceton Cannon. Survived by the love of his life of sixty-nine years, Allie Mae Thrower Wesson, of Nashville, Arkansas, three daughters: Carolyn Lofton (Luther; deceased), and Gwendolyn White (Bruce) of Nashville, Arkansas, and Catholyn Wesson of Texarkana, Arkansas; four sons: Jerry Wesson and Larry Wesson of Nashville, Arkansas, Charles (Lois) Wesson of Delight, Arkansas, and Clarence Wesson of Nashville, Arkansas; one brother, Homer “Bailey” Wesson, Jr. of Omaha, Nebraska, and one sister, Deloies “Dee” Haddox, of St. Louis, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends. Visitation will be Friday, March 15, 2019, at Hicks Funeral Home in Hope, Arkansas. Services will be 2:30pm, Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Williams Memorial Church in Nashville, Arkansas.
