Martha Ann Braggs Porter

Martha Ann Braggs Porter, 76, of Chicago, Illinois died Friday, March 22, 2019. In Chicago, Mrs. Porter was born February 13, 1943 in Emmet, Arkansas.
She was a former Office Product Manager. She was a member of the Garrett Chapel Missionary Baptist Church and attended Abundant Life Missionary Baptist Church of Chicago.
Survivors include one daughter, Dr. Stephanie Michelle Porter of Atlanta, Georgia; two sons, Perrin Porter (wife, Pamela Griffith Porter), Keith Porter of Chicago, Illinois; three siblings, Winnfer Scott, Ruth Primus, Yvonne Williams of Hope, AR; eight grandchildren; and a number of other relatives.
Visitation will be 5-6pm Saturday, March 30 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2pm Sunday, March 31 at the Garrett Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, Rev. Douglas A. Jones, officiating. Burial will be at Scott’s Memorial Gardens in Perrytown, under the direction of Hicks Funeral Home, Inc.
