Miss Hempstead County Bakes for Thanks

Miss Hempstead County, Maleigh Moore spent some of her time at home this week baking delicious homemade strawberry cookies. Once the cookies were browned, she loaded the sweet smelling treats in containers and delivered a batch each to our local health care workers.

“With everything that’s going on, I wanted to show my appreciation to all of our front line people and hometown heroes here in Hope. I enjoy baking, so this was a super fun way for me to thank them for all that they have been doing. It’s important to let these people know just how much we care and appreciate all of their hard work and energy!” Moore said when asked why she wanted to bake and deliver cookies to our local health care workers.

Moore delivered her classic strawberry cookies to health care staff at Medi-Mart Pharmacy, Allcare Pharmacy, Wadley Emergency Room, Dr. Bennett, Hempstead County Health Unit and Pafford Emergency Services.

Just one more example of the amazing helpful community spirit we have here in Hope, Ar.
